Larry Lifesaver's Motorcycle Riding Tips, is the story of a group of young motorcycle enthusiasts out for a ride one summer's day. When they pull up to a little wayside café called “The Sidecar,” once inside, they meet up with an old rider who introduces himself as Larry. He proceeds to offer them many practical suggestions and sage advice on how to “Keep Safe Out There” when riding their motorcycles.

Once back outside the café, listening to the sound of old Larry's motorcycle as it fades away into the distance, they find themselves with many unanswered questions about Larry himself. Who really was old Larry Lifesaver, or even as one young fellow asks, “What was Larry?"
